What are varicose veins and is there an effective treatment?

Many people around the world need treatment for varicose veins because they suffer from leg pain and changes in the appearance of their skin. Studies show that 10 to 20% of men and 25 to 33% of women in the United States are affected. This corresponds to a total of around 25 million people. Most of this number represents people between 30 and 70 years old. It is quite large and a problem of this national and international scope requires further medical and personal analysis. This article examines varicose veins – the most common causes and symptoms – and their treatment.

Varicose veins can manifest anywhere in the body in this way, but usually affect the legs and feet. They result from a regular increase in blood pressure that dilates the vein. The venous walls are pushed apart and the venous valves (valves that are open to allow blood to pass through and then closed to prevent backflow) no longer seal properly, making it difficult for the muscles to squeeze the blood. Go to the heart. Instead of flowing from one valve to another, blood begins to collect in the vein, which increases pressure and the risk of constipation when the vein rotates. Because superficial veins have less muscle support than deep veins, they are more likely to become varicose. And then they become ugly and visible to the eye, which redesigns shorts or short skirts.

Symptoms of a venous disorder include:

  • painful and / or heavy legs, increased ankle swelling (after standing),
  • dark blue blood vessels in legs and feet (hence the alternative title “spider veins”)
  • cord-shaped veins, tumid, bluish,
  • pain and heaviness in one limb, sometimes with swelling (without visual representation can indicate a more serious disorder),
Changes in skin pigments, peeling of the skin,
  • constant pain instead of irregular pain.

Treating varicose veins treats the above symptoms as well as the cause of the problem. It is designed to increase blood flow to the veins and heal them by increasing your venous tone. It normalizes capillary permeability and strengthens capillary resistance. This means that your veins and capillary system can better control blood flow, which significantly reduces the likelihood of your legs getting these spider veins.
